No one is perfect, and being a combat veteran comprised board we have had to lean on organizations that truly stood to help Veterans. There are a lot of organizations out there that are in it for the wrong reasons, these stand true and will do whatever they can to assist anyone they can. We support ANYONE who TRULY supports veterans and their families in their darkest times.
In Norse mythology, Odin (from Old Norse Óðinn) is a widely revered god. He is associated with healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, battle, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, the runic alphabet, and is the husband of the goddess Frigg.
Odin is depicted as being a cloak wearing, spear wielding, one-eyed, long-bearded God that granted ultimate knowledge. He is usually accompanied by his animal companions, Geri, Freki, Huginn and Muninn, who bring him information from all over Midgard (Earth) while sometimes riding the flying Sleipnir across the sky and into the underworld.
Odin is given primacy over beings associated with the battlefield and oversees Valhalla, where he receives half of those who die in battle, the einherjar. The other half are chosen by the goddess Freyja for her afterlife location, Fólkvangr.
